Every caregiver passes a background check before their profile goes live, and we re-run checks annually. We also monitor cancellation rates and review patterns, and follow up directly on any flagged concerns.
Can I request a specific caregiver?
Yes — you can message or book any caregiver directly from their profile. If they're unavailable for your requested time, we'll suggest similar caregivers nearby with matching availability.
What happens if my caregiver becomes unavailable?
If a confirmed caregiver has to cancel, we notify you immediately and surface backup caregivers with matching availability and similar experience — you're never left without options close to your booking time.
How do I know a caregiver is the right fit?
Read their caregiving philosophy and bio, check reviews from other families, and message them before booking. Many families do a paid trial visit or interview call first.
What areas do you serve?
We're available across the United States. Enter your zip code on the homepage to see caregivers currently active in your area.
How much do your services cost?
Caregivers set their own hourly rate, shown upfront on every profile — typically $15–$30/hr depending on care type and experience. We don't add booking fees on top; you pay the caregiver's posted rate.
Can I cancel or reschedule a booking?
Yes, from your bookings dashboard. Cancellations made more than 24 hours ahead are free; later cancellations may be subject to the caregiver's individual cancellation policy, shown at booking.
When am I charged?
Your card is authorized when you send a booking request but only charged once the caregiver confirms — never before.
How do I give feedback or report a concern?
Every completed booking prompts a review. For anything urgent or safety-related, contact support directly rather than waiting for a review.
Do you offer live-in or overnight care?
Yes — filter by "Live-In and Overnight Care" on the search page to see caregivers who offer extended or overnight availability.
How do you handle emergencies?
Caregivers are asked to contact you and local emergency services immediately in any emergency, then notify support. Profiles list relevant certifications like CPR where applicable.
Are your services customizable?
Yes — when you post a job or send a booking request, you can specify schedule, specific tasks, and any special considerations directly to the caregiver.
